    L'HYDROPTERE 2.0 is developing a business hosting R&D projects aboard its 2 hydrofoil boats.
    Evolving at very high speeds in a constraining environment<\/strong> (humidity, salinity, waves, wind), L'Hydropt\u00e8re and L'Hydropt\u00e8re.ch are ideal experimental testbeds<\/strong> for testing innovations from different sectors (maritime, aeronautics, industry) under real conditions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    Here are a few examples of experiments that can be onboarded on our boats:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Mechanical<\/strong> systems (instrumented and connected foil or appendage for monitoring; ball joints or bearings for fatigue strength under extreme stress conditions).<\/li>\n
    • Electronic<\/strong> systems (sensors, measuring devices) for testing aging in hostile environment.<\/li>\n
    • Coatings, paints<\/strong>, coverings, etc. for accelerated aging tests.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      If an experiment is taken to the proof-of-concept stage (POC: TRL* 3) by one of our platforms, development is accelerated and the TRL rises<\/strong> (validation of the prototype with a view to certification: TRL* 7 to 8).<\/p>\n
