Cette semaine, nous avons pu réaliser nos deux premières sorties sous voiles⛵️
Objectifs: prise en main, test de tous les systèmes et éprouver la fiabilité du bateau.
Bilan: bateau ultra fiable et fun, un équipage heureux!😎
Nous avons réussi un premier vol à 20 noeuds lors de la première sortie.
Temps plus leger pour la seconde où nous avons pu naviguer à plus de 2 fois la vitesse du vent😁
Il nous reste beaucoup de travail pour trouver les bons réglages de foils et améliorer nos performances!
Les équipements fournis par nos partenaires BigShip (Shipchandler) et Slam (vêtements techniques) LCJ Capteurs - Ultrasonic Wind Sensor sont au top 🙏💪💪
Nous sommes prêts à accueillir NAVAL GROUP et SIREHNA pour la campagne d'essais en mer du projet de monitoring structurel #NavScreen puis nos premières sorties RP VIP.

Ce vendredi 22 mars à Nantes, depuis notre chantier basé chez SECO MARINE (FETIS Group), l'équipe de Régis MESSÉ de ADEKMA LEVAGE a posé en douceur L'Hydroptère .CH sur la Loire! Merci à eux et à Barciet Manutention Services qui nous a fourni des élingues toutes neuves!🙏🙏
Nous sommes à présent au ponton Belem à Nantes où vous pouvez venir nous rencontrer jusqu'à dimanche soir.
Lundi matin nous prenons la route du Croisic où nous allons nous préparer pour la parade du Spi Ouest France à la Trinité sur mer samedi 30 mars matin.
Prochaine grande étape en avril: mener la campagne d'essais en mer que nous a commandé NAVAL GROUP pour son projet #NavScreen de recherche sur la surveillance de structure.

Ce vendredi 22 mars à Nantes, L'Hydroptère .CH va retrouver l'élément liquide 🌊🌊🌊
Grâce à notre très efficace partenaire grutage ADEKMA LEVAGE, le mât a été installé vendredi dernier et nous avons pu faire des essais de levage à blanc. Maintenant, toute l'équipe s'affaire pour que tout soit prêt à temps !
L'Hydroptère .CH sera ensuite visible tout le week-end du 23-24 mars au ponton Belem au centre ville de Nantes où une permanence sera assurée de 10h à 17h pour échanger avec le public.
Nous filerons ensuite au Croisic lundi matin pour y faire nos premières navigations... 😃

Cette semaine, c'est au tour de Niels Boucard de rejoindre l'aventure !
Niels est navigateur et nous rejoint en tant que boat captain de nos 2 voiliers volants.
Sa première mission: la mise à l'eau de L'Hydroptère .CH que l'on prépare activement pour embarquer une campagne d'essais d'un prestigieux client.
En parallèle, il s'attaque avec Corentin ROMÉ à la remise en condition de vol de L'Hydroptère.

Aujourd'hui nous accueillons ROMÉ Corentin pour son stage de fin d'étude.
Futur ingénieur en matériaux composites il sera en charge du regreffage de la barre d'écoute de GV de L'Hydroptère qui a dû être retirée pour le transport San Francisco - Nantes, tout ça avec l'aide de notre directeur technique Eric RAMBAUD expert en composites.
Cette étape marque le début des travaux de la remise en condition de vol de L'Hydroptère !

Mardi 28 novembre, nous avons eu l'honneur d'être sélectionné avec 7 autres startups de Nantes et de la région Pays de la Loire pour presenter notre entreprise aux Assises de l'économie de la mer!
Merci Nantes Métropole pour ce beau coup de projecteur et bravo pour l'organisation de cet évènement maritime majeur !

Ce lundi nous avons eu le plaisir d'accueillir Martin Clemencel, Maxime Galinant, Stanislas de Gastines et Charles André, avocats et managers au sein d'EY et EY Société d'Avocats Nantes, prestigieux cabinet d'avocat, d'audit financier et de conseil, autour d'un petit déjeuner et d'une visite de notre chantier implanté chez FETIS Group SECO MARINE 🥐.
Nous avons également évoqué nos projets de R&D en cours de lancement sur lesquels l'équipe d'EY nous apporte de précieux conseils de structuration et de stratégie.

Dans le cadre d'une summer school destinée à des étudiants de Hanyang University 한양대학교, Nantes Université et la HALLE 6 OUEST ont organisé des visites de sites et entreprises emblématiques de la région Nantaises.
Nous avons eu le plaisir d'être sélectionnés et d'accueillir 25 étudiants coréen venus visiter notre chantier chez SECO MARINE (FETIS Group) et découvrir L'Hydroptère et L'Hydroptère .CH
Ce fût un plaisir de partager notre passion de la mer, de la technologie et de l'innovation !

En cette rentrée 2023, la team de L'HYDROPTERE 2.0 s'attèle au montage et à la mise en fonctionnement du .CH, notre second voilier volant.
La mise à l'eau du catamaran volant Suisse est en préparation afin d'embarquer une expérimentation en mer pour notre premier (et prestigieux!) client...
Pour l'occasion, après la remise en route de l'hydraulique par Pierre Tocni, Vincent LE ROUX de BLEW STOUB est venu nous prêter main forte pour la mise en place des filets et du gréement. Tanguy de Larminat de Karver Systems est également venu inspecter l'accastillage et effectuer quelques opérations de maintenance.

Dans le cadre du programme Accès PME mis en place par le Pôle EMC2 visant à faciliter l’émergence et la co-construction de projets d’innovation, nous avons été heureux d'accueillir XSun, BYSCO - Byssus Company, Duqueine Atlantique, SAS SOFIRA Groupe Rabas et Rabas Protec et SISCO COMPOSITES autour de L'Hydroptère et de L'Hydroptère .CH lors d'un atelier animé par Aude-Ysoline Errien.
C'est toujours un plaisir de partager notre passion et de faire visiter notre chantier chez SECO MARINE une société de FETIS Group !

L’équipe a rendu visite au laboratoire d’Hydrodynamique (LMH) de l’Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne. C’est grâce au travail du LMH que l’Hydroptère a pu atteindre les 55,5 nœuds en 2009.
farhat Mohamed nous a reçu pour relancer une collaboration avec l’équipe de L'HYDROPTERE 2.0 autour de projets innovants concernant les foils, les hélices de navires et l’optimisation du système d’écopage des avions bombardiers d’eau.
Ces projets feront l’objet d’essais dans le tunnel à cavitation.

On May 30, 2023, Gabriel and Loïc were at the Cité de la Voile Eric Tabarly in Lorient for the 6th edition of INNOV'SAIL.
They had the opportunity to present the company and its innovative maritime and aeronautical projects, at the heart of tomorrow's challenges for the decarbonization of these sectors.
It was also an opportunity to attend presentations of cutting-edge scientific research in the field of sailing, and to engage in rich exchanges with numerous players in the sector.
Organized by the Ecole Navale, the Cité de la Voile-Eric Tabarly and Bretagne Développement Innovation as part of the Eurolarge Innovation program, this international conference on innovation in high-performance sailboats and sail-assisted ship propulsion brings together the world's leading experts in sailing research.

LISA AIRPLANES, the Savoy-based company that developed the AKOYA seaplane, THE ONLY hydrofoil-equipped seaplane in the world, has come to a halt and its assets have been put up for sale. These include trademarks, patents, molds and production tools, as well as the AKOYA prototype No. 3, which flies and takes off/landing on land, water and snow.
💡 Hydrofoils make it possible to operate a seaplane even in chop conditions, and even more so depending on the size of the aircraft.
Our company, L'HYDROPTERE 2.0, specialized in R&D at the water/air interface, with a team of experts from the aeronautical and naval sectors, has made a buyout offer with a plan for continuity and development.
BUT... the assets have been sold by the Annecy Commercial Court to a Chinese company.
With the support of Neopolia, France Clusters, Pôle Mer Bretagne Atlantique and Crédit Maritime Grand Ouest, we decided to react and challenge this decision before the Chambéry Court of Appeal.

Today L'Hydroptère.CH, our second R&D platform, arrives in France by container and joins the L'Hydroptère 2.0 team!
Objective: to support the development of innovative and collaborative projects.
An experimental hydrofoil catamaran measuring 10m×10m, L'Hydroptère.CH is capable of sailing at 2.7 times the wind speed and holds all the speed records on Lake Leman (crossing, km and hour).
Unlike its big brother L'Hydroptère, which is undergoing renovation, it is ready to sail and as soon as our base is set up, it will continue with us its mission of promoting efficiency through technology, as it has done brilliantly previously within the Hydros Foundation.

For L'Hydroptère 2.0, 2022 marks the launch of several great R&D projects. And it started last week with the METRAVIB Design teams who came to carry out an Experimental Modal Analysis (AMEX) of L'Hydroptère's linking arms. Suspended from slings a few centimetres from their support, fitted with accelerometers and subjected to the (light!) impacts of a connected mallet, the link arms, whose carbon structure is directly derived from the keel beams of the Airbus A340-500-600, revealed their vibratory behaviour.
This is a preliminary step in the intelligent real-time structural monitoring project led by the Lyon-based company METRAVIB, based on the analysis of vibrations by an onboard AI.
Objective: to monitor the structural integrity of L'Hydroptère in flight with a minimum of sensors. The interest is to obtain a real-time structural monitoring system that is easy to deploy, even on large units, whether they are made of composites or not.
METRAVIB has chosen the R&D platform L'Hydroptère 2.0 to develop and promote this new technology and to participate in the GICAN call for innovative projects: AMI CORIMER 2022.

This morning, thanks to the logistical support of Airbus, LD SEAPLANE and the precious help of the Groupe IDEA teams, the lateral foils of l'Hydroptère arrived at the Airbus Technocentre in Nantes.
Made of carbon and titanium, the foils measure 5.5m long and weigh 380kg each. One more step towards the complete return of l'Hydroptère to France 😉

The L'Hydroptère 2.0 team is happy to announce a new milestone in the adventure: The 2 link arms, the rear foil and the shock absorbers -derived from Rafale Marine dampers- are on their way to France🇲🇫 to be renovated!

Since the beginning of March, L'Hydroptère has been under construction in San Francisco Bay. Then the Covid-19 arrived and we decided to confine ourselves to our shipyard so that we could continue working in complete safety. We will soon complete our first major step: dismantling and taking out of the water. Here are some pictures of our work ...

I didn't have time to share this with you yet, but L'Hydroptère arrived in Richmond, San Francisco Bay, on the night of November 18th to 19th. Congratulations to the crew who did a great job!
L'Hydroptère is therefore safe and sound, and we will be able to move on to the renovation with a view to the first flights in spring/summer 2020.
